About Us
Inspired by a television series about a man who lived in the woods amongst nature and animals, Tim Hausotter was then a young boy who could only imagine a day he would build a home with his own two hands.

Dreams would soon become a reality when Tim started his project in 2000 - his own BlockHouse. It took him three years as he did everything himself. Through this as well as another "LogHome" project he had undertaken, Tim gained a wealth of valuable experience and found tremendous enjoyment working with natural materials.

In 2010, Tim made acquaintance with a man who had built a 250sqm home with the help of a single crane and three chainsaws. Driven by this meeting, Tim was thoroughly inspired to attend workshops that would further his knowledge on how to create various types of sheds including Log Sheds, Witches Sheds and many more.
Fascinated with the various types of wood and natural materials he could work with, Tim also began to fashion log lamps, cat trees and other beautiful home decorations out of oak, pine, douglas fir, spruce, beech and other types of fruit trees.
